Blinked โ€” Privacy Notice

Beta version ยท Last updated: 6 October 2026

Blinked is currently in a closed beta. This is an interim notice for beta testers. A full privacy policy will replace it before public launch.

Who we are

Blinked is operated by Manousof Stefan Tzon, who is responsible for your data (the "controller"). Contact: info@blinkedapp.com.

Who can use Blinked

Blinked is only for people aged 18 or over.

What we collect

We do not track your location. Blinked only uses your location when you choose to: placing a pin, searching, or tapping "use my current location". Nothing runs in the background.

What other people see

People searching can see a pin's venue or area, the day, a two-hour time window, a rough distance band, and your message. They never see your name, photo, account or exact location. Your name and photo are shared with someone only if you both agree to reveal yourselves in a chat, and only if you both have a photo.

Why we use your data

We don't sell your data and we don't show ads.

Who processes it for us

Google (Firebase, Google Cloud and Google Maps Platform) hosts the app and its data. Apple and Google handle sign-in. Our data is stored in London, UK. Some of these providers may process limited data in other countries under their standard data protection terms.

How long we keep it

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your data, or object to how we use it. You can delete your account at any time in the app. For anything else, email info@blinkedapp.com.

If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (dpa.gr) or your local data protection authority.

Changes

We'll update this notice as Blinked develops and tell you in the app about significant changes.
